Okdol Beach: Location: Seonyu 1-gu, Seonyudori, Okdo-myeon, Gunsan-si

Okdol Beach is located in Statistical Village, Seonyudo District 1, and is called Okdol Beach because the beach is made of soft stones rather than sand.
Generally, it consists of a sandy beach. Unlike regular beaches with beaches, Okdol Beach is made up of fine pebbles like jade stones. The strangely shaped rocks and jade stones around the beach create a beautiful scenery.

Beach Deck Trail: Location: Seonyu 1-gu, Seonyudori, Okdo-myeon, Gunsan-si

Enter inside Seonyu District 1 village, pass the Marine Police Station, park in the parking lot, and walk for about 3 minutes to reach a deck road where you can admire columnar joints and strange rock formations. You can take satisfactory shots no matter where you shoot.

Samdo Gwibeom: Location: Seonyudori, Okdo-myeon, Gunsan-si

When you climb to the top of Seonyubong Peak, you can see a spectacular view of the surrounding islands, and especially Samdo Gwibeom, one of the eight scenic spots of Seonyu.
Three sail boats Samdo Gwibeom, which means returning home, is a name given to the uninhabited island seen to the west from the middle of the bridge connecting Seonyudo and Munyeodo Island, as it looks like three sailboats coming in with flags indicating that they are full.

Mangjubong Peak: Location: 2-gu, Seonyudori, Okdo-myeon, Gunsan-si

It is a mountain in Seonyudo-ri, Okdo-myeon, Gunsan-si. It originated from the fact that a scholar who was exiled to an island climbed the rocky mountain and looked at Hanyang and missed the king.
South of Seonyudo Mangjubong Peak, located in Seonyu 3-gu, is 152m above sea level. It stands tall at the northern end of Seonyudo and is made up of two rocky mountains.
The large rock in the north is called Husband Rock, and the small rock next to it is called Wife Rock. When you stand at the top, you can see the sea off Gunsan and the islands at a glance. When heavy rain falls in late summer, when rain is frequent, 7 to 8 streams of water pour from Mangju Peak, creating Mangju Falls.
It is said that south of Mangju Peak, there was Gunsanjeong, where Kim Bu-sik invited envoys and held a reception ceremony. It is also said that there was Seongsan Temporary Palace in the west, and Oryongmyo Shrine, Jaboksa Temple, and a government office in the middle of the eastern peak. There are tiles and celadon pieces with resin inscriptions scattered widely in the area.
It is possible to climb Mangjubong Peak, but it is made up of rocky cliffs and there is a steep path between the cliffs, so there is a risk of accidents, so please refrain from hiking as much as possible.

Seonyudo Beach (Myeongsasimni Beach): Location: Seonyu 3-gu, Seonyudori, Okdo-myeon, Gunsan-si

This beach is located on Seonyudo, the center of the Gogunsan archipelago, and is also known as ‘Myeongsasimni Beach.’ It is a beach with shallow water and clean sand.
Seonyudo Beach also appears in 『Gogunsan Jinjido』 of 1872, and is one of the eight scenic views of Seonyu that has been handed down since ancient times. It is a natural coastal sand dune beach with a wide white sandy beach as transparent and beautiful as glass, so it is called 'Myeongsasimni Beach', but the actual distance is less than 2km.
Except at high tide, when the water is full, the wide beach is about 50m long. A wide sand field is spread out, and the sand particles are very fine.
Even if you go 100 meters deep, the depth of the water does not exceed your waist, and there are no high waves, so you can play in the water safely.

Seonyu Sky SUN Line: Location: San 56-36, Seonyudori, Okdo-myeon, Gunsan-si

This is a 45m tower standing tall at Myeongsasimni Beach in Seonyudo. It is a new concept experience facility where you can enjoy an exhilarating thrill using the sea and beach and fly in the sky to reach Sol Island on the other side.

Daejangdo

Jangjahalmae Rock: Location: Rock located west of Jangjadori, Okdo-myeon, Gunsan-si

In Daejangdo Island, there is Halmae Rock, where many lovers pray for their love to come true.
According to legend, they were a married couple. When her husband, who had gone to Hanyang to take the civil service examination, passed the exam and returned, her wife prepared her table with all her heart. But suddenly she saw the concubine that her husband had brought, and her sorrowful heart hardened into a rock. So, it is said that if lovers promise to love while looking at this grandmother rock, their love will come true. The reason is that the legend says that if you betray, you will turn into a rock, so you make a promise to yourself that you will never betray, and it is said that Halmae Rock is also amazed by the lovers' sincere confessions of love and makes their love come true.

Sunset (Sunrise): The spectacular scenery of the Gogunsan Islands presents a completely different view and feeling depending on where you stand and the viewing angle. Seonyu sunset means a sunset so beautiful that immortals can play around in it. The first attraction of Seonyu's eight scenic spots is the sight of the sun, blazing as if molten iron was poured on a tray, dyeing the sky and sea red and hiding its face beyond the horizon between the clustered islands. . The sunrise seen from the same spot is also a famous attraction.

Munyeo Island

Rat Dung Island: Also called Moses Road, the two islands where the sea road opens depending on the tide are islands during high tide, but during low tide the sea road opens and you can walk to the islands. Also, the sunrise is spectacular.
